Arbol de los Angelitos was inspired by the traditional Mexican Tree of Life pottery sculptures. These elaborate clay pieces are made by artisans from Izucar de Matamoros in the State of Puebla. The design was influenced by the silver ad bronze ceremonial candelabras brought by the Spanish Friars at the time of the conquest to use in the church. They have evolved into intricate and colorful clay sculptures depicting religious stories, historic moments, and Mexican folk art.
Arbol de los Angelitos celebrates the loving anical companions who share our lives and holidays. They are our "angelitos," little angels.
